L’Empreinte receives two awards at the Gutenberg Gala!

On April 25th, l'Empreinte received not one, but two awards at the Gutenberg Gala!

We're very proud and honoured to be the winners of the Book Editing and the Jury's Favourite categories for our project in collaboration with the Musée d'art de Joliette. This is a first for l'Empreinte, which has won both categories for the same work.

It's a great opportunity for us to highlight the work of our team, whose dedication and precision did justice to the images of a renowned artist and ensured consistency between the different periods presented. Among the challenges brilliantly met: printing a small quantity on an ultra-fast press without losing consistency, simultaneously producing the slipcases and volumes with laminated sleeves, and coordinating with the artist the signing of 200 copies before boxing. All this for a top-of-the-range result!

We would like to acknowledge the invaluable collaboration of Jacques Payette, John R. Porter and Jean R. Beauchesne, without whom this project would not have been possible. Our gratitude also goes to Jean-François Bélisle of the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Joliette and to the Pierre Lassonde Family Foundation, whose contribution to this project was invaluable.
