LSTW magazine has often won awards for the
quality of its design: honouring this exceptional artistic work with excellent
printing was a challenge in itself. Despite the size of the ink coverage, the
rendering of the photos had to be beyond reproach. The use of UV inks, which
are more effective and brighter, and the systematic retouching of the photos
enabled us to obtain a top-of-the-range product. The three different covers of
this collector's item had to be perfectly centred so that the spine aligned with
those of the other issues.

process. The glazed cover, which has a very small spine in a different colour,
had to be applied with great precision.

We proposed printing in two different blacks to do justice to the images and ensure consistency between the different time periods. A number of challenges included printing a small quantity on a high-speed press without losing consistency, simultaneously producing the slipcases and laminated jacket volumes, and coordinating with the artist the signing of 200 copies before boxing. A truly upscale product!

For its 57th Annual Ball, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts chose a Western theme, an emblematic universe that needed to be revisited. With its SuedeTex paper, satin black stamping and light embossing, this invitation recreated the atmosphere of a saloon with its refined textures and metallic inks.

products with the environmental values of the Biolage brand: that was the
challenge for this 100% recycled kraft substrate packaging. Printing an
attractive visual on this material meant overcoming its heterogeneous composition,
the dust generated by the recycled material during printing and the challenge
of obtaining an opaque white on a brown background. We tested several
combinations and methods in order to obtain a suitable colour recipe. This
technical complexity makes each box almost unique!
